<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of colorization through interlace scanning in a conventional field accumulation mode which causes optical loss because of using a subtractive color filter. <P>SOLUTION: In a basic pixel structure of a solid state image sensor, spectroscopy elements are arranged opposite to a pixel at a first row and a second column and a pixel at a third row and a first column to inject light of a first color component into adjacent pixels in a horizontal direction and to inject complementary color light of the first color component into the opposite pixels, spectroscopy elements are arranged opposite to a pixel at a second row and the first column and the pixel at the third row and the first column to inject light of a second color component into adjacent pixels in the horizontal direction and to inject complementary color light of the second color component into the opposite pixels, and no spectroscopy element is arranged at the first row and the first column, at the second row and the second column, at the third row and the second column, or at a fourth row and the second column. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
