<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power generation system capable of reducing the electric power generation cost while achieving leveling of the output. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power generation system 1 includes a wind power thermal power generation unit and a solar power generation unit. The wind power thermal power generation unit includes a wind turbine 10, a heat generator 30 for generating the heat by the rotation of the wind turbine 10, a heat storage unit 40 for storing the heat generated in the heat generator 30, and an electric power generation unit 50 for converting the heat stored in the heat storage unit 40 into electricity. The solar power generation unit includes a reflecting mirror 81 for reflecting the sun beam, a heat collector 82 which receives the sunlight reflected by the reflecting mirror 81 and collects the heat of the sun beams, the heat storage unit 40 which stores the heat obtained in the heat collector 82, and the electric power generation unit 50 which converts the heat stored in the heat storage unit 40 into electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
