<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a battery to be charged and discharged as much as possible with satisfying a target lifetime of a battery and without increasing the capacity of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: Each module is provided with a braking portion for controlling a conduction state and a cut-off state of a battery, and by successively actuating the breaking portion under discharge, predetermined idle period discharge is ceased and the amount of discharge from the other modules is increased, thereby compensating for the decrease of the discharge amount caused by the cease of discharge of some modules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
