<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode and a battery which are capable of improving a capacity maintenance rate by suppressing decomposition of an electrolyte, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode regarding the present invention comprises a nonwoven fabric 31 that is an electron-nonconductive porous body, and a particulate active material 32 held in pores of the nonwoven fabric 31. A roughness of the active material 32 is 3 to 5 inclusive, which is defined by a value obtained by dividing a surface area per unit weight for an average particle diameter by a surface area per unit weight when it is assumed that particles of the active material 32 have a true spherical shape with the same particle diameter as the average particle diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
