<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a plate-shaped lifting table of a signature stacker can not be moved up unless a pusher plate pushes out a bundle of signature assemblies and is returned; and the pusher plate is arranged in other than a turntable turning portion and a stroke larger than an actual move distance of each assembly is required, thereby reducing performance. <P>SOLUTION: An elevator is divided to allow the pusher plate 11 to pass under the elevator during hoisting.
