<p>The method involves exciting a rotor blade (1) to be tested by excitation sources designed as a specially formed deflection and focusing system (7). A solar radiation is focused on a surface of the blade. A heat flow due to the excitation of the blade is detected by an infrared sensor (3) to obtain a series of thermal images, where the sensor is firmly fixed stationary or together with the excitation sources on a flying carrier (4). The images are processed using various types of signal and image processing methods. The carrier is arranged at a controlled distance from the blade. An independent claim is also included for a device for inspection of fault in rotor blades of a wind power plant using heat flow thermography, comprising flying carrier.</p> |
