<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit of a switching device, which can perform a thermal shutdown by estimating a temperature of a power device with high accuracy without increasing the number of terminals. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit 10A includes: an output part 2 for controlling an operation current flowing in an insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 based on an input signal; pre-operation temperature detection parts 6-1 to 6-N for detecting a temperature of the control circuit 10A before the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 starts to operation; a temperature detection control part 5 for outputting a first detection signal when a temperature of the control circuit 10A rises higher than a second preset temperature set corresponding to a first preset temperature of the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 and configured so as to be able to change the second preset temperature in responce to detected results of the pre-operation temperature detection parts 6-1 to 6-N; and an output control part 3 for controlling the output part 2 so as to turn off the insulated gate bipolar transistor 21 in response to the first detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
