<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling vehicle capable of effectively transporting a cargo even in a situation where an obstacle exists on a travelling route and the obstacle cannot be immediately removed. <P>SOLUTION: A travelling vehicle 100 comprises: an obstacle sensor 110; a controller 120 to make the travelling vehicle 100 perform a first avoidance operation to avoid an obstacle in accordance with a detection result of the obstacle sensor 110; and a storage section 130 to store positional information showing a position of the obstacle as well as avoidance width information indicating avoidance widths in both right and left directions of the travelling vehicle in the first avoidance operation. If the obstacle sensor 110 detects an existence of the obstacle at the position shown by the positional information when a distance between the travelling vehicle 100 and the obstacle is equal to or shorter than a first distance (a); the controller 120 makes the travelling vehicle start a second avoidance operation using the avoidance width information stored in the storage section 130 before the distance between the travelling vehicle 100 and the obstacle reaches a second distance (b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
