<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator including a car brake for fixing a car to a guide rail with a given displacement tolerance even during a correction operation. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator 1 includes the car 4, the guide rail 41 for the car, a hoisting machine 3, a landing position detecting device 7, a hoisting machine brake 34, the car brake 10, and a control device 8. The landing position detecting device 7 detects that the car 4 is placed at a landing position. The hoisting machine brake 34 comes into a braking state while the hoisting machine 3 stops, and fixes a drive shaft of the hoisting machine 3. The car brake 10 allows the car 4 to be moved within a range of a given displacement amount from the landing position under the braking state P1 wherein the car 4 is fixed to the guide rail 41. Based on a detection signal from the landing position detecting device 7, the control device 8 controls the hoisting machine 3, the hoisting machine brake 34, and the car brake 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
