PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that allows easily understanding the layer information on a plurality of layers by displaying a plurality of layer thicknesses in association with each other for the same eye.

SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes acquisition means for acquiring information about a plurality of layer thicknesses from a tomographic image of an eye, and display control means causing the display means for displaying the information about the plurality of layer thicknesses in association with each other.
