<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driverless printing function for a user who uses a Web application for editing a document, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A printer comprises: receiving means for receiving a URL of an edit screen of a document being displayed on a Web browser from a client device having the Web browser; extraction means for extracting identification information for identifying document data on the document from the URL received by the receiving means; acquisition means for acquiring, when the identification information is extracted by the extraction means, the document data identified by the identification information from a Web application server which provides the edit screen for the Web browser; and print control means for printing the document data acquired by the acquisition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
