DESULFURIZATION AGENT, AND DESULFURIZATION DEVICE DESULFURIZATION METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization agent capable of stably removing the sulfur compounds in a hydrocarbon-containing gas and of reducing adsorption of an unsaturated hydrocarbon-based odorant, and to provide a desulfurization device and method using the same.

SOLUTION: There is provided the desulfurization agent which is a zeolite of porous inorganic oxides and has an average pore size capable of trapping porous inorganic oxides but incapable of capturing the unsaturated hydrocarbon-based odorant. By the agent, the sulfur compounds in a hydrocarbon-containing gas can be stably removed, and the adsorption of the unsaturated hydrocarbon-based odorant is inhibited. Besides, a similar effect can be obtained even in adesulfurization device or method using the agent.
