<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial X-ray generator that can be formed in a small and lightweight manner as a whole and can maintain sufficient insulation using a small amount of mold material by placing an X-ray tube and a high voltage generation part with a proper positional relationship. <P>SOLUTION: In an X-ray generator 1, a booster circuit 27a is formed by successively coupling plural booster stages from its low-voltage input terminal T1a to its high-voltage output terminal T2a. The booster circuit 27a is placed in a side portion region of an X-ray tube 7 so that the low-voltage terminal T1a corresponds to an anode 13 of the X-ray tube 7 and the high-voltage terminal T2a corresponds to a cathode 11 of the X-ray tube 7. A lead wire 28a extending from the cathode 11 to the outside of the X-ray tube 7 is coupled to the high-voltage terminal T2a of the booster circuit 27a. At least an end portion of the X-ray tube 7 on the cathode 11 side, the lead wire 28a extending from an end portion on the cathode side, and an end portion of the booster circuit 27a on the high-voltage terminal T2a side are molded with mold material M including insulation resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
