POTENTIAL MEASURING TOOL AND POTENTIAL MEASUREMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential measuring tool which has such a structure that the tool can be inserted to a narrow aperture like a crack, and a potential measurement method which is capable of measuring a hydrogen ion concentration by using the same.

SOLUTION: A potential measuring tool 301 includes: a columnar or weight-shaped metallic rod 11 of which the cross section in a lengthwise direction is polygonal or circular; an insulating coating 12 covering a side surface of the metallic rod 11; and an metallic end 13 which is made of a metal different from that of the metallic rod 11 and is disposed on an outer periphery of the insulating coating 12 at one end of the metallic rod 11.
