CAR SHARING SYSTEM, DESTINATION REGISTRATION METHOD IN ON-VEHICLE UNIT, ON-VEHICLE UNIT AND VEHICLE RESERVATION SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to reduce time loss in reservation time in car sharing.

SOLUTION: In a car sharing system, a user terminal has means for transmitting data including information on destination to which the user is heading for to a vehicle reservation server. The vehicle reservation server has means for transmitting a notice to check whether an on-vehicle unit mounted in a vehicle to be reserved is available for processing or not and means for transmitting data including the destination information to the on-vehicle unit after receiving a notice indicating that the on-vehicle unit is available for processing. The on-vehicle unit has registration means for registering the destination information included in the received registration information as a destination of the travel guidance of the unit, checking means for checking whether the registration means in the unit is executable or not after receiving the notice to check whether the unit is available for processing or not, switching means for switching the reservation means from an inexecutable state to an executable state and means for transmitting a notice indicating that the unit is available for processing to the vehicle reservation server.
