<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component capable of improving an isolation characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A main line ML and an sub line SL are arranged in a laminate 12 and are electromagnetically coupled each other so as to constitute a directional coupler. The main line ML is connected between external electrodes 14a and 14b disposed on a lower face of the laminate 12 through a via hole conductor. The sub line SL is connected between external electrodes 14c and 14d arranged on the lower face of the laminate 12 through the via hole conductor.
