<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a vacuum cleaner which can reduce in number of manufacturing steps while preventing deterioration in vibration-proof performance and airtight performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a vacuum cleaner 1 in which an electric fan 6 covered with a fan case 9 having an inlet port 9a provided in an end face 9d, is arranged in a body 2, includes: a housing 16 formed into a cup shape with an opening face and having a hole part 16a opposite to the opening face, a cushion body 18 having an annular part 18a and a plurality of projection parts 18b projecting radially from the annular part 18a. The method includes the steps of: holding the electric fan 6 in the housing 16 by elasticity of the projection parts 18b bent toward the annular part 18a held the peripheral surface of the fan case 9 and the peripheral wall of the housing 16 after inserting the end face 9d of the fan case 9 interleaved with the annular part 18a into the opening face of the housing 16 the end face 9d of the fan case 9 is inserted into the opening face of the housing 16; and mounting the housing holding the electric fan 6 in the body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
