The equipment has a tap (1) and a compensator (7) for adjusting flow rate of beverage flowing through the tap. A sensor (13), a regulation algorithm (16), an actuator (4) i.e. electric motor, and the compensator regulate the flow rate. The sensor is arranged in a line (12) or in the tap. The compensator is controlled by the actuator over a gear pinion (5) and a gear wheel (6). A container carrier moves containers from an initial position into a tilted position and vice-versa. Rotary movement of the gear wheel is transformed into longitudinal movement of the compensator.
