In order to suppress an increase in size of outer vehicle dimensions and ensure mobility while not sacrificing driving and operating performance, a forklift, which is provided with a driving hydraulic pump (10) and an operating hydraulic pump (50) driven by an engine (1) and further provided with a hydraulic motor (20) operating on the oil supplied by the driving hydraulic pump (10), and which runs by the power from the hydraulic motor (20) being transmitted to a front axle (2), has: a PTO unit (40) installed in an output shaft (1a) of the engine (1); the hydraulic pumps (10, 50) each transmitting power by means of the PTO unit (40); the driving hydraulic pump (10) positioned so as to offset the pump input shaft (10a) in relation to the output shaft (1a) of the engine (1); and the hydraulic motor (20) and the driving hydraulic pump (10) positioned so as to be mutually parallel to one another.
