<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a brushless motor that can preferably startup a brushless motor that drives a cooling fan in a startup time as short as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A control device for a brushless motor that drives a cooling fan, has: a rotation position detector that detects a rotation position of a rotor, based on a voltage induced in each phase coil of the motor; and a drive controller that transits from a startup control to a normal control to execute a normal conduction control so that the rotor rotates at a target rotation speed when it is determined that the rotor rotates normally at a rotation speed larger than a predetermined first rotation speed and smaller than a second rotation speed, which is larger than the first rotation speed, based on the rotation position of the motor detected by the rotation position detector at startup, and waits until the rotation speed of the rotor becomes a predetermined rotation speed smaller than the second rotation speed when it is determined that the rotor rotates normally at a rotation speed larger than the second rotation speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
