<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe toilet seat device capable of detecting an electric trouble that is likely to occur in the toilet seat device having a heating function regardless of the control state of the heating function. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat device 1 includes: a heating element 11 including a heating pattern 12 and a heat conducting pattern 13; a power supply part 23 for supplying power to the heating pattern 12; an application power supply part 213 capable of applying a reference voltage below the minimum value of an intra-circuit voltage range in which potentials at respective positions inside the heating pattern 12 are distributed or a reference voltage exceeding the maximum value to the heat conducting pattern 13 regardless of the control state of the heating element 11; a short-circuit detection circuit 221 for detecting a leakage current between the heating pattern 12 and the heat conducting pattern 13 and detecting an electric short circuit between them; and an interruption circuit 222 for interrupting power supply to the heating element 11 when the electric short circuit is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
