<p>A dispensing container for e.g. snack items such as nuts, crisps, freeze- dried grapes, has a body (2) with an opening (3) covered by a dispensing membrane (4). The membrane (4) has slits (5A, 5B) in it, but they do not quite intersect. By rupturing the section (7) of the membrane adjacent the intersection of the slits, access to the interior of the container may be achieved, but because the dispensing membrane (4) is stiff, after some contents have been removed, the remainder tends not to fall out. A cover membrane (8) e.g. of aluminium foil, may be located over the dispensing membrane and peeled from that when the user wants to access the contents.</p> |
