PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device for eliminating the need for shim driving work. SOLUTION: A distribution case 9 consists of a combination of case body 69 and case cover 69 joined abutting onto each other via a joint face 67 along a plane including the axial centers of bearing mounting hole portions 91, 93. The inner periphery diameters of shims 123a, 125a, 125b are set smaller than seal supporting hole portions 97, 99, 101 ranging from end openings 102, 104 of the distribution case 9, respectively. The seal supporting hole portions 97, 99, 101 ranging from the end openings 102, 104 of the distribution case 9 are shaped to allow the internal embracement of outer cylinder portions 161, 165 of a tool 145 ranging from the end openings 102, 104 over the outside of the distribution case 9 while abutting on the shims 123a, 125a and to allow the axial pull-off of the outer cylinder portions 161, 165 of the tool 145 from the end openings 102, 104 to the outside.
