The centering sealing ring (1) comprises a larger-diameter annular flange-like area (2a) for arrangement between the lower side of the sanitary fitting and the upper side of a wash basin. A centering area (2b) is provided for inserting into a tap hole of a wash basin. The annular flange-like area and the centering area are made of hard material. A molded seal (3) is provided, which is formed at the lower side of the annular flange-like area.
