<p>The present invention relates to an intake device of an internal combustion engine, comprising intake manifold means (20) for defining a plurality of intake passages (22a-22d) for introducing an intake gas into a row of engine cylinders (#1-#4), gas passage means (20,30) for defining a secondary gas passage for introducing a secondary gas into the intake passages, the secondary gas passage including upstream and downstream gas channels (65,67) communicating with each other and branch gas channels (61-64) branching off from the downstream gas channel (65,67) into the intake passages (22a-22d) , and heat conduction means (40) for allowing heat conduction from the upstream gas channel (65) to the downstream gas channel (67), wherein the upstream and downstream gas channels have first and second gas channel sections (65,67), respectively, extending adjacent to and substantially in parallel with each other along a direction of the row of the engine cylinders on opposite sides of said heat conduction means (40), and said heat conduction means (40) is a thin partition between the first and second gas channel sections (65,67).</p> |
