<p>A printing machine (100) utilizing replaceable die cuffing cylinders (160) comprising:
a revolving indexer (120) rotatingly coupled to the printing machine (100) in a position above a moving printing machine web, said revolving indexer (120) being adapted to releasably receive the die cutting cylinder (160) therein;
a shuttle (140) slidably coupled to the printing machine such that said shuttle (140) may be slid in a direction transverse to the printing machine (100) for loading and unloading of die cutting cylinders (160) by an operator; and
a sliding shuttle deck (145) slidably coupled to said shuttle (140), said shuttle deck being adapted to releasably receive the die cutting cylinder (160) thereon such that said shuttle deck (145) may be slid towards said revolving indexer (120) when said shuttle deck (145) is loaded with the die cutting cylinder (160).</p> |
