PURPOSE: An energy-saving device for a ship is provided to remove the heat of solar radiation with the evaporation heat of water by supplying water to hydrophilic coating formed on the outer surface of a ship. CONSTITUTION: An energy-saving device for a ship comprises an outer plate(1), hydrophilic coating formed on the outer surface of the outer panel, and a water supply part which supplies water to form a water film on the hydrophilic coating. The hydrophilic coating comprises TiO2 having a hydrophilic property under ultraviolet ray.
