PURPOSE:To easily mount a first and second magnetic heads to an arm by setting angles of inclination of the first and the second magnetic heads against a straight line for connecting the first and the second magnetic heads and a head gap part for read-out and write, to an obtuse angle and an acute angle, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The first magnetic head 26 is provided on a position of a near distance l1 from a rotational center 7 of an actuator, through a first head fitting plate 24, and a second magnetic head 27 is provided on a position of a far distance l2, through a second head fitting plate 25. An inclination angle theta1 of the first magnetic head 26 against a straight line 30 for connecting the rotational center 7 of the actuator, and a head gap part 28 is set to an obtuse angle, namely, theta1>90 deg., and an inclination angle theta2 of the second magnetic head 27 against a straight line 31 is set to an acute angle, namely, theta2<90 deg.. In such a way, positions seen from a plane, of the first and the second head fitting plates can be shifted from each other against the tip part of an arm, and as a result, the first and the second magnetic heads can be mounted easily to the arm. |
