Round comb of a combing machine

The comb has a base body (20) secured on a shaft (15) in a torque-proof manner. The base body has a hollow profile i.e. aluminum extruded profile, with an outer arcuate portion (23) for retaining a combing set (G). An inner portion (22) lies opposite to the outer portion. A semicircular trough (21) is opened in a direction of the shaft and extends in a longitudinal direction of the hollow profile. The body and an attaching part (S3) are provided on the trough. The body and a mass balancing element (AG1) are braced against each other transverse to the longitudinal direction of the shaft.
