PURPOSE: A tethering service providing method and an apparatus thereof in a wireless LAN terminal are provided to support an efficient tethering service and to improve the usability of a tethering service. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(130) displays an operating terminal list and a waiting terminal list in a set list view mode. A controller(160) checks the operating terminal list and the waiting terminal list when the tethering service request of an external terminal is received. The controller controls an operation for connection request refusal of the external terminal.
