PURPOSE: A cleaning device for a water tank is provided to filter water including contaminants washed off a water tank and use the filtered water as a driving force. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning device for a water tank comprises a body part(110), a contact plate part(130), a brush part(150), and a pump part(170). The body part comprises an intake port(112) on a cleaning side and a discharge pipe(114) on the other side thereof. The contact plate part surrounds the periphery of the intake port and has a water passing hole(134). The brush part is extended from the cleaning surface of the body part opposite to the interior surface(S) of the water tank and rubbed against the interior surface of the water tank. The pump part draws in water mixed with contaminants, passes the water through a filter, and discharges the filtered water to the discharge pipe.
