<p>The pipe (1) has an inner pipe (20) with outer diameter (Iad) arranged within inner diameter (Aid) of an outer pipe (10) so that a tubular intermediate space (ZR) is formed between the inner and outer diameters. A bending point (30) is provided along an axial direction (AR) of the pipe, where a spacer element (40) is provided between the inner and outer pipes at the bending point and radially fills a part of the intermediate space in the axial direction. The element is made of open-cell metal foam that is formed from non-ferrous metal e.g. aluminum and copper, and ferrous metal e.g. steel. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a double-walled pipe.</p> |
