1. Improved air filter, particularly for an internal combustion engine, which has a filter case (1) defining a resonator volume (4) connected to an intake chamber (5) via a roughly cylindrical neck (6), and a cover (7) fixed to said case by means of a nut (21) screwed onto a free end of a threaded rod (20), whereof the other end is fixed in the axis of the neck (6), an acoustic and vibratory control grid (17, 25) being placed on the end of the neck (6), issuing into the intake chamber (5), around the threaded rod, characterized in that said grid (17, 25) has a tubular central sleeve (18, 26) having a tapped part (19, 27) cooperating with the threaded rod (20) in order to maintain said grid in position on said end of the neck. |
