PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a controlling method thereof are provided to obtain location information from an SNS(Social Network Service) server and to display the obtained information to a photographed image. CONSTITUTION: A display module(151) displays an image photographed through a camera. A controller(180) displays information which is corresponded to a specific point of the photographed image. Information is obtained from an SNS(Social Network Service) server. The controller selectively filters information based on at least one standard.
