PURPOSE: A file upgrade device and a method thereof are provided to reduce time for upgrading a file by supplying an upgrade file to an upgrade module. CONSTITUTION: An upgrade file providing unit(100) provides an upgrade file. Upgrade devices(110) includes an upgrade module for upgrading the upgrade file and performs communication with the upgrade file providing unit. The upgrade file providing unit and the upgrade module are equipped with Ethernet. The upgrade file providing unit transmits the upgrade file to the upgrade module through the Ethernet.
