<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the span abnormality or the abnormality of variation amounts of weight measurement values to be obtained from measurement instruments. <P>SOLUTION: The weighbridge of each of measurement instruments 4, 16 and 18 is installed on a road surface such that when a vehicle passes, the wheels or axles of the vehicle successively pass. The weights of the wheels or axles passing on each weighbridge are measured by an arithmetic circuit 14. When the wheels or axles pass several times on each weighbridge, the arithmetic circuit 14 calculates the mean value of the weight measurement values of the axles for each of the measurement instruments 4, 16 and 18, and performs the comparison operation of the calculated mean value of each of the measurement instruments 4, 16 and 18, and compares the result of the comparison operation with a predetermined allowance for determining whether or not any span abnormality is generated in any of the plurality of measurement instruments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
