The system has a tire pressure measuring module (10) that is arranged in a tire (3) of a motor vehicle for monitoring pressure in the tire, where the tire is filled with air. A seat diagnosis module (14) inspects the fixing of the measuring module in the tire depending on output signals of an acceleration sensor that is connected with the measuring module. The measuring module and the sensor are encapsulated in a housing.
