<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve of an accumulating-type fuel injection device capable of minimizing the fuel outflow from an outflow passage, and improving the injector efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve, to which fuel discharged from a high-pressure pump and accumulated in an accumulator is supplied, includes: a needle valve which opens and closes a nozzle hole formed at the tip part of a nozzle; a command piston 8 reciprocating along with the needle valve; a control chamber 32 formed at the back of the command piston 8 and receiving the fuel; an outlet orifice 10 through which the fuel in the control chamber 32 flows out; and a control valve 9 controlling the open and close of the outlet orifice 10. A projection part 90 is provided at a tip of the control valve 9 via a connection part. The projection part 90 is located inside the control chamber 32. When the control valve 9 is in an open state, the projection part 90 is inserted into the outlet orifice 10 and formed to reduce the flow passage area of the outlet orifice 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
