A PAL/SECAM two-way television receiving set comprises a video-detection circuit (4) for receiving intermediate frequency signals and sending out video-detection signals and audio-intercarrier signals in PAL mode, an audio-detection circuit (11) for receiving said intermediate frequency signals and sending out audio-signals in SECAM mode and a bridge T-type trap (14) for 32.4MHz provided at the input terminal of said video-detection circuit. The television set requires no switch means for the trap, thus simplifying the overall circuit and improving the operational simplicity by being able to receive signals in PAL or SECAM mode without requiring external trap switching operations. The audio intercarrier signals are applied to a band-pass filter 6 and an FM demodulator 7 for recovering the audio signals in the PAL mode. <IMAGE>
