<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide film which scarcely causes a warping phenomenon in a long-sized polyimide film having a length of ≥500 m after the production; and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a ≥500-m long and wide self-supporting polyimide film involves heat curing in a curing oven. Then, the heating temperature in the curing oven after a maximum heating temperature has been reached is regulated so that the absolute value of the warp degree of the film is controlled to be ≤3. When the maximum heating temperature in the curing oven is the cooling temperature (Tc) in the curing oven after the maximum heating temperature of about 425 to 525°C, after the temperature satisfying the following condition: 350[thickness/75]<SP POS="POST">1/2</SP>>Tc>Th-200[1+(75-thickness)/75] is maintained for 30 sec, the curing oven is naturally cooled, wherein Th is the maximum heating temperature (°C), and the thickness is in μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
