<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desalting apparatus having a structure capable of flowing raw water uniformly through the respective flowing channels for desalting and with turbulent mixing suppressed and a method capable of flowing the row water uniformly through the respective flowing channels for desalting and with the turbulent mixing suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The desalting apparatus 101 has the flowing in part 1 of the raw water including salts, the raw water storing part 2 which is formed in the lower part and into which the raw water from the flowing in part 1 flows, the plurality of desalting parts 3 arranged side-by-side extending upward from the raw water storing part 2, the plurality of water collecting parts 4, 5 arranged in the upper end part of the desalting part 3. The raw water is allowed to flow upward in the inside of the insulating wall 6 of the desalting part 3, the deionized water having low ion concentration and the ion-condensed water separated by the electrostatic field formed by a voltage applied to the electrodes 7 are allowed to flow out to the water collecting parts 4, 5 by overflowing the same respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
