<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out fastening with high accuracy to a target torque of a wide range by one impact rotary tool. <P>SOLUTION: The impact rotary tool includes: a motor 2 that is a rotation driving source; an impact generating device for generating pulse-like impact from motor rotation and adding a rotation torque to an output shaft 7 by the impact; a torque sensor 10 for measuring the torque added to the output shaft; and a control means C for stopping the motor when the torque measured by the torque sensor reaches the target torque that is set.
