<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee extraction bag by which, upon pouring hot water to a coffee extraction bag put into a cup from the upper side, hot water can be easily poured without floating coffee, hot water quickly permeates into coffee powder, inside gas is rapidly discharged, the fine powder of coffee, residue, oil and fat components are not leaked out in the cup, and delicious and clean coffee can be extracted. <P>SOLUTION: An inner bag, which is filled with coffee powder and made of nonwoven fabric with the air and water permeability to an extent fine powder of coffee is slightly leaked out, is stored in an outer bag 44 made of nonwoven fabric with the air and water permeability to block the leakage of fine powder of coffee. A plurality of steps of broken line shape slits 9, at predetermined intervals d in the lateral direction on the upper half part on the front side of the outer bag 44, are formed in a state where the slits 9, at predetermined intervals in the vertical direction and neighboring each other in the vertical direction, are alternately shifted by a predetermined amount.
