<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device allowing downsizing of a connector having an electric contact terminal composed of a crimp terminal by downsizing of the electric contact terminal, and contributing to downsizing of the whole electric connector. <P>SOLUTION: When a terminal crimp anvil part 40 of an anvil 33 for a signal line and a pair of claw parts 43 of a crimper 36 for the signal line are inserted into a crimp tool insertion port 15 and a signal line 60 is crimped by crimping a crimping piece 25 of a signal line crimp part 24, a terminal crimp anvil part 40 is guided into a terminal crimp anvil insertion part 44 and the pair of the claw parts 43 is inserted into a claw insertion groove part 42 of a claw clamp part 41, so that expansion of the pair of the claw parts 43 is prevented. Also, an outer face part 43a of the pair of the claw parts 43 is brought into contact with an outer face part 42a of the claw insertion groove part 42, and the claw insertion groove part 42 formed between the terminal crimp anvil part 40 and the pair of the claw parts 43 is constituted in a tapered shape by forming an inner face part of the pair of the claw parts 43 in a tapered shape from the tips of the pair of the claw parts 43 to a pressure receiving face part 40A before the signal line 60 is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
