<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device which can perform an A/D conversion at a high speed without being affected by performance of a VCO, can suppress dispersion of input/output characteristic of a PLL and can prevent generation of a vertical streak with gain property, and to provide a camera system. <P>SOLUTION: A reading portion includes: a VCO 1411 generating a clock signal of a frequency corresponding to voltage of a reading signal; a pre-counter 1412 counting the clock signal generated by the VCO; and a counter 1416 counting an output of the pre-counter. In a first period, counting operations of the pre-counter and the counter operate in a first direction, while the counting operations of the pre-counter and the counter operate in an opposite second direction in a second period. Signals in different levels in the first period and the second period are applied to a gate of a dummy pixel, and a first processing for outputting a value held in the counter as a Kv value being a ratio of an input voltage and an output frequency of the VCO is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
