<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component having a terminal part excellent in electrical and mechanical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component includes a circuit element part 8, lead-out terminal parts 9 formed by rectangular conductor lines, connection conductor parts 10 connecting the circuit element part 8 and the lead-out terminal parts 9, and an exterior resin part 11 coating the circuit element part 8 and the connection conductor part 10. Recesses 13 are formed on lead-out boundary parts 12 led out from the exterior resin part 11 in the lead-out terminal parts 9 so as to face both wide surfaces of the lead-out terminal parts 9.
