<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model for freeze casting, capable of producing a high-quality product (cast) having no vent hole trace, and largely extending the life of the model, and a method of manufacturing a freeze casting mold by use of the model. <P>SOLUTION: The model 1 for freeze casting which is composed of a porous material having a number of vent holes formed by adhering metal powder such as of aluminum with a resin is used, moisture-containing casting sand is filled in the circumference of the model put in a form, and cold air is sucked through the vent holes formed in the model to pass the cold air through the casting sand 8, whereby the freeze casting mold is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
