LENS BARREL, IMAGING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which has first driving means to drive a first and a second optical member and second driving means to drive the first optical member and is capable of performing an extending operation of the lens barrel in a short period of time without causing a user to have a sense of discomfort.

SOLUTION: A lens barrel comprises: a first optical member (a first lens group 10 and a second lens group 20) which moves along an optical axis A; a second optical member (prism 5) which moves along an optical axis B; a SW motor 51 to drive the first optical member and the second optical member; and a TW motor 53 to drive the first optical member. The lens barrel also has control means which controls the TW motor 53 to drive the first optical member while the SW motor drives the first and the second optical member.
