<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device and a display device which can be downsized and reduce the occurrence of an interference pattern. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical device 14, an optical element 140 through which a laser beam passes is vibrated in a plane orthogonal to an optical path of the laser beam. A leaf spring 146 holding the optical element 140 is provided with openings H1, H2 through which the optical element 140 passes at the time of vibration. Without space for the time of vibration provided between the optical element 140 and the leaf spring 146, the occurrence of an interference pattern (speckle noise) due to the laser beam can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
