<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently increasing the toner charge amount of a replenishment developer by the timing when the replenishment developer reaches a developer carrier even if the distance between a developer supply position and the developer carrier is short. <P>SOLUTION: An agitation chamber 24 communicates with a developing chamber 23 at both ends thereof and forms a circulating path of developer. The agitation chamber 24 rotates an agitation screw 26 having screw blades so as to transfer the developer in the reverse direction from the developing chamber 23 while collecting the developer from a developing sleeve. The agitation chamber 24 is configured such that the agitation screw 26 is provided with ribs 53 in a region ranging from a developer supply port 30 to a developing sleeve 28 in the agitation chamber 24 so as to increase friction frequency between a circulating developer and a replenished developer by making a developer transportation capacity of the region ranging from the developer supply port 30 to the developing sleeve 28 lower than that of a region along the developing sleeve 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
